Why this concert matters

The tour is billed as the last one for Bulgaria. That changes the stake: not "he will be back next year", but one night with the Smokie voice and the solo hits.

The Palace in Varna is a large hall — seated, wide, no club crush. The crowd comes for the songs, not the pit.

The same run hits Sofia on 19 March and Plovdiv on 23 March. If Varna is closer, do not buy Sofia "just in case".

What to expect from the set

Living Next Door to Alice, Lay Back in the Arms of Someone, Oh Carol and solo cuts like Midnight Lady are the likely anchors.

Do not expect a hard-rock wall. Expect pop-rock classics, choruses and a live band around Norman, not a full 1970s Smokie reunion.
