Chris Norman (Smokie)

🎤 The legendary voice of SMOKIE — Chris Norman — returns for one last tour of Bulgaria in 2027. Backed by his live band, he'll perform timeless Smokie classics 'Living Next Door to Alice', 'Lay Back in the Arms of Someone' and 'Oh Carol', alongside solo hits like 'Midnight Lady'.

📅 Date: 2027-03-19, NDK, Hall 1, Sofia, 20:00.

Why this concert matters

The tour is billed as the last one for Bulgaria. That changes the stake: not "he will be back next year", but one night with the Smokie voice and the solo hits.

Hall 1 fits the repertoire — seated, wide, no club crush. The crowd here is usually older and comes for the songs, not the pit.

The same run also hits Varna and Plovdiv. If Sofia is awkward, compare the three dates before you buy.

What to expect from the set

Living Next Door to Alice, Lay Back in the Arms of Someone, Oh Carol and solo cuts like Midnight Lady are the likely anchors.

Do not expect a hard-rock wall. Expect pop-rock classics, choruses and a live band around Norman, not a full 1970s Smokie reunion.

Practical information

NDK Hall 1, 20:00. Tickets from 30 euros — check the final total with fees.

Seated. NDK doors lag around start time; leave a buffer. After the encore the exits jam — if you have a bus or train, leave before the final bows.

Varna is 21 March, Plovdiv 23 March. Do not buy three tickets "just in case".
