THE OCEAN (+ PSYCHONAUT, THE DEVIL'S TRADE)

🌊 German post-metal innovators THE OCEAN return to Bulgaria in a new creative era, presenting their twelfth studio album 'Solaris' – inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky's film of the same name. Special guests: Belgian progressive metallers PSYCHONAUT and Hungarian dark folk project THE DEVIL'S TRADE, who open the night.

📅 Date: December 4, 2026.

Why this concert matters

The Ocean do not arrive with three-minute club hits. Solaris pulls toward longer forms and concept — the night is for people who listen to the record, not two riffs in a playlist.

DK Sredets suits post-metal better than a big empty hall: the music needs density, not a vacant balcony. Psychonaut and The Devil's Trade line the bill as a chain — progressive, post-metal and a darker folk door, not random filler.

If you want fast thrash or chant-along choruses, this is not the date. If you want a heavy, stretched set, it is one of the more serious December nights.

What to expect from the set

Solaris-era material plus older long pieces. The tempo shifts; do not expect a straight 40-minute wall.

The support sits in the same spectrum. Arrive early if the whole chain matters, not only the headliner.

Practical information

The price is still open — follow the listing, not an old TBA line in the calendar.

Sredets fills for this genre. For long pieces a spot slightly off the bass is often cleaner. December outside is cold; the queue is not heated.
