Three ultra-aggressive Thrash Metal bands from Central America and the Balkans with a joint concert in Sofia: CHEMICIDE (Costa Rica), UNENDING FURY (North Macedonia) and MASS CONFUSION (Bulgaria) take the stage at Sofia's Live & Loud club on October 30, 2026.
CHEMICIDE stand out with aggressive, high-speed thrash with a raw punk spirit, drawing inspiration from bands like SEPULTURA and DEMOLITION HAMMER, as well as contemporary Bay Area influences. Signed to the renowned French label Listenable Records, their latest album 'Violence Prevails' was released in 2025 and was named one of the best albums of the year by Loudwire, Metal Hammer UK & DE, and Rock Hard IT.
Since their formation, the band has released 5 full-length albums and continues to tour internationally in DIY format across South, Central and North America, as well as Europe, having performed alongside renowned artists such as: HATEBREED, DESTRUCTION, ANGELUS APATRIDA, DARK ANGEL, CORONER, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, MUNICIPAL WASTE, HAVOK and others.
UNENDING FURY is a speed/thrash metal band from Skopje, North Macedonia, formed in 2011. So far the band has released one album in 2018 titled 'Negative Peace' and is currently working on material for a second album. The band's sound is a mixture of old school German speed metal and the new wave of old school thrash metal.
MASS CONFUSION are a Thrash Metal band from Vratsa, Bulgaria. Get ready for an evening where you will feel the heart of metal — raw riffs, uncompromising rhythm and pure energy.
The concert will be on October 30, 2026 at Live & Loud club. The stage is located at 8 Positano Street, Sofia.
Why this concert matters
Three bands from three different continents on one small-club stage is unusual for the Bulgarian thrash scene, not just another night with a foreign headliner. CHEMICIDE come from Costa Rica — a country rarely associated with European thrash tours — and carry a deal with French label Listenable Records; their latest album "Violence Prevails" (2025) was named a year-end favorite by Loudwire, Metal Hammer and Rock Hard.
UNENDING FURY from Skopje represent a less-heard strand of Balkan thrash — a mix of old-school German speed metal and the newer wave of old-school thrash. MASS CONFUSION from Vratsa round out the bill as the local presence, giving the night a Bulgarian anchor alongside the imported acts.
For people following the DIY thrash circuit, this is a chance to see a band with an actual label deal (CHEMICIDE) next to regional names that rarely play outside their home markets. Bills like this rarely repeat — next time CHEMICIDE come through Europe, a bigger festival slot is more likely than another club date in Sofia.
What to expect from the set
Expect CHEMICIDE to lean on "Violence Prevails" — raw, high-speed thrash with a punk edge, close in spirit to SEPULTURA and DEMOLITION HAMMER. UNENDING FURY will likely draw on "Negative Peace" (2018) while working on a follow-up, so part of the set may include unreleased new material.
The format is three bands, club setting — MASS CONFUSION as local openers, followed by UNENDING FURY, with CHEMICIDE closing. For a thrash bill that means a dense, high-intensity night with little downtime between sets.
